WATCHING IDUBBBZ AND KEEMSTAR - CONFUSED MUCH???

These two people go by the names iDubbbz and Keemstar and they are both YouTube creators. They could not be more different as far as their on-camera personas are concerned and yet I watch them both avidly. Is it the variety I crave or have I finally and completely lost my mind?

In February 2017, iDubbbz added another video to his Content Cop series which basically involved him calling other YouTubers out on their shit. It was Tana Mongeau's turn and iDubbbz really went the extra mile where she was concerned. He attended one of her fan meetups, posing as one of her fans. But he had a special surprise for her when they posed together for a picture. He put his arm around her shoulder and said quite loudly, "Say N****R!" Tana was caught off-guard and she walked away quickly from the photo area. Of course, Keemstar posted this on his channel, Drama Alert. And of course they (Keemstar and Tana) spoke vehemently against the use of the racial term iDubbbz used. And they are both guilty of using that word on their videos like it's a bodily function. So, yeah - a little bit of hypocrisy there.

But Keemstar knew all about iDubbbz and his Content Cop videos. Less than a year before Tana's turn at being called out, Keemstar was in iDubbbz' hot seat. And iDubbbz didn't take it easy for him either. So even though these two creators are very different, their purpose is the same (at least as far as a few of iDubbbz' series are concerned). Both of these creators work at exposing the hypocrisy and shadiness of the better-known YouTubers. And although I may handle things a different way, their approach works for them and the millions of people who tune in to see who's on the chopping block this time.
